New weekly LinkedIn series goes beyond traditional “Top 100” lists to highlight the experience, judgment and real-world contributions of advertising and digital marketing practitioners.
FouAnalytics today announced the launch of FouAnalytics Practitioners Spotlight, a weekly LinkedIn profile series recognizing the people whose hands-on work makes digital marketing better.
“There are too many good folks to recognize in a ‘Top 100’ list, so we decided to start this ‘Practitioners’ Spotlight’ to recognize the good work of individual practitioners,” said Dr. Augustine Fou, founder of FouAnalytics.
The idea is simple: recognize the people actually doing the work, even if they don’t have fancy titles or large follower counts on LinkedIn.

Practitioners Spotlight will feature professionals from across advertising, adtech and digital marketing. Each profile will introduce the person, the work they do, the problems they help solve and, most importantly, what others can learn from their experience. That experience matters even more as AI becomes embedded in everyday marketing work. Practitioners know when a metric deserves a closer look, when a result feels wrong and when a confident-looking recommendation needs to be questioned.
“AI can produce a lot of output very quickly, including reports and recommendations that look convincing,” said Dr. Fou. “But experience teaches people what to look for, what questions to ask, what to verify, and what action to take. The human judgment that comes from actually doing the work is more important than ever.”
FouAnalytics Practitioners Spotlight extends the mission of the FouAnalytics Practitioners Newsletter, which shares real campaign data, practical analysis, and insights developed through decades of hands-on digital marketing experience.
The profiles will be published as LinkedIn posts. Each one-page Spotlight will focus on real work rather than abstract claims, practical experience rather than generic career advice, and examples that other practitioners can actually use.
“People learn from specific examples,” Dr. Fou added. “When someone can see how another professional identified a problem, interpreted the data, and made a better decision, there is something useful they can apply to their own work. These profiles are about recognizing good people and making their knowledge more visible.”
